SimpleIT4U is an Australian technology services company providing custom build services (Microsoft Platform, AI Agent Solutions, Web & Mobile Apps) and SaaS products (OneLinguo and OnePulseWork) to businesses primarily in Australia.
We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

We only collect personal information that is necessary for us to provide our services or to communicate with you.

We do not collect sensitive information (such as health or financial account data) unless strictly required and with your explicit consent.
We use your personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected:
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotes for our services
- To deliver, manage, and support custom build projects
- To provision and operate SaaS product accounts (OneLinguo, OnePulseWork)
- To process payments and issue invoices

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business, under strict confidentiality agreements. These may include:

- Payment processors for invoice and subscription billing

Some of these providers may be located outside Australia. Where data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives comparable protection to the Australian Privacy Principles.
We may also disclose your information where required by law, court order, or a regulatory authority.
We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law.

When data is no longer required, we securely delete or de-identify it.
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate or out-of-date information
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have mishandled your data

REFUNDS POLICY
Custom build services (Microsoft Platform, AI Agent Solutions, Web & Mobile Apps) are bespoke engagements scoped and agreed upon before work commences. The following terms apply:
Discovery & Scoping PhaseDiscovery & Scoping Phase
Initial discovery calls and project scoping are provided at no charge. No refund is applicable as no payment is taken at this stage.
Deposit & Project CommencementDeposit & Project Commencement
- A deposit (typically 30–50% of the agreed project value) is required before work begins
- The deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced, as it covers planning, architecture, and initial development effort already performed
- If SimpleIT4U cancels a project before commencement, the full deposit will be refunded within 14 business days
Mid-Project CancellationMid-Project Cancellation
- If a client cancels a project mid-way, payment is due for all work completed to the cancellation date, based on time and materials or agreed milestones
- Any overpayment beyond completed work will be refunded within 14 business days
- Deliverables completed to that point will be provided to the client
Completed DeliverablesCompleted Deliverables
- Once a deliverable has been reviewed and accepted (or deemed accepted after a 7-day review period), payment for that milestone is non-refundable
- Defects or bugs identified within 30 days of delivery will be remediated at no additional charge
- Change requests beyond the agreed scope will be scoped and quoted separately
OneLinguo – Pay-Per-SessionOneLinguo – Pay-Per-Session
- Sessions that have not yet been used are eligible for a credit or refund if requested within 30 days of purchase
- Completed sessions are non-refundable once the translation service has been delivered
- If a technical fault on our end causes a session to fail, a full credit or refund will be issued automatically
OnePulseWork – SubscriptionsOnePulseWork – Subscriptions
- Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period with no pro-rata refund for unused days
- Annual subscriptions cancelled within 14 days of payment are eligible for a full refund, provided no payroll or compliance data has been processed for that billing period
- Annual subscriptions cancelled after 14 days will receive a pro-rata credit for remaining whole months, applied to a future subscription or refunded upon request
- If we discontinue OnePulseWork, all active subscribers will receive a pro-rata refund for their remaining subscription period
